Particularly interesting as I am looking on every usa sites to identify a carbine breech loading percussion .I do have many photographs of it. I believe its a .50 caliber .american dark walnut , octigonal chamber , but smooth bore this my problem ! Barrel length 27.55 ” any information you may have will very helpful
